Docker is a set of coupled SaaS and PaaS products that use operating system-level virtualization to develop and deliver software in packages called containers. Container is an operating-system-level virtualization method for running multiple isolated operating systems (containers) on a host machine sharing the same kernel. The Open Container Initiative (OCI) is an open governance structure for the express purpose of creating open industry standards around container formats and runtimes. OCI was established in June 2015 by Docker and other leaders in the container industry, the OCI currently contains two specifications: the Runtime Spec and the Image Spec. Anyone with basic IT/software experience can attend this Docker course. You need a laptop with a better configuration and a stable internet connection to do a hands-on workout in session time. In this Docker course, you will learn introduction, overview, Docker/OCI image, Docker network, Docker storage, Docker/OCI container, and Docker compose. Please view the syllabus document to know the full course content structure and hands-on topics on Docker.
