This class is for 8th Standard students who need help in solving Mathematics problems.

We provide:

1. Explanation of the concepts: Students often simply need proper clarity on the basic concepts involved.  Once this clarity is provided, they become fairly confident that they can learn the associated ideas and develop their skills and knowledge in the subject and solve problems with relative ease.

2. Solution to typical problems:  Initially, many students donot understand the examples provided in the texts, particularly so since it is so new to them. Once they are explained through clear and step-by-step procedure, linking the procedure to the concepts learnt, they will start appreciating the subject. They will also develop the confidence that they could do it themselves.

3. Resolution of Doubts: The student by now is in a position to solve majority of the problems him/her self. But, here and there need to be prodded towards the appropriate solution approach. Also, possibly doubts linger in terms of understanding of the problem statement itself. Or, he/she may get stuck at some point because of lack of clarity in certain portions of the concept or due to mathematical errors. Then, a bit of handholding is going to be of greart help in bringing the student on track and thereafter, what is needed is simply monitoring and course-corrections.
