The detailed courses target complete academic support of reading, writing, speaking and listening skills and additional grammar support. There are monthly tests and performance evaluations and weekly assignments (including 1-2 group tasks) to enhance learning and communication abilities.

It uses lectures, short plays, interactive exercises and cultural tips to help learners build a fundamental capability of oral Chinese in real-life situations. This is a beginners' course, therefore no prerequisite is required.
