CALCUTTA CHESS ACADEMY has been providing scientific & methodical chess coaching to kids of West Bengal since the year 1992. It is playing a key role in the development of chess in West Bengal. During the past 33 years, Calcutta Chess Academy has produced a number of Grandmasters, International Masters & Champions in National / International levels. It is headed by Mr. Shyamol Dutta, the only N.I.S.-Trained National Chess Coach of West Bengal who introduced group chess coaching first time in West Bengal 48 years ago. This Academy is affiliated under Kolkata District Chess Association, affiliated to SARA BANGLA DABA SANGSTHA, an affiliated unit under All India Chess Federation. Since the beginning, this Academy was operating in North Kolkata only. Because of the glittering success of this Academy during the past 33 years and the growing demand for online chess coaching, we have started Online Chess Coaching in the year 2019.
