This course is for anyone who wants to learn computer networking and upgrade their skillset to have a career in network engineering field. Prior knowledge of basic networking and binary numbering is desired to kickstart this course.
The student will learn all the required concepts to understand how network functions and how to do the troubleshooting at the client level. The student will be able to register for ccna certification exam after completing this course.
I have devided this course in four parts for the better understanding of many topics to be covered.
Part one will cover Network Devices, Binary calculations, IP address, Cables, Topologies, Broadcast Architecture, Communication, OSI Model, Switching cocepts, Subnetting, VLSM, Router configuration, Router Backup, Recovery, Router access- telnet, ssh, dhcp etc, IPv6 configuration
Part Two covers Routing Static, OSPF, WLAN, FHRP, Switching, VLAN, Rapid PVST+, Spanning Tree, Etherchannel, Port security etc.
Part Three comprises of Access list, NAT, PAT, QoS, Security - Password, IPSec Remote Acsses, DHCP Snooping, Dynamic ARP< AAA, WLAN WPA2, PSK etc
Part Four includes introduction of all the new technologies like Cloud computing, SDN, Controllers, Virtualization and Automation
Most of the concepts will be covered with hands on practical and the student will get a troubleshooting lab on a simulator to practice. Students need to have a desktop with headphone and mic or laptop with proper internet connectivity.
