"A2 Flyers" is the third level in the Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners. It is intended for children who have developed basic English language skills and is a continuation from the A1 Movers level. The A2 Flyers test is suitable for children aged 6 to 12. [RECOMMENDED AGES 11-12] The A2 Flyers test includes three sections: 1. **Listening:** In this section, children listen to various audio clips, such as conversations, stories, or instructions, and then answer questions based on what they have heard. The tasks in this section assess their ability to understand spoken English in different contexts. 2. **Reading and Writing:** This section assesses reading and writing skills. Children are required to read and understand simple texts, answer comprehension questions, and complete written tasks, such as filling in gaps in sentences. 3. **Speaking:** In the speaking section, children participate in a face-to-face or online interview with an examiner. They engage in interactive tasks, respond to questions, and speak about pictures or topics. The speaking tasks aim to evaluate their ability to communicate in English in various situations. A2 Flyers is designed to build on the language skills developed in the previous levels (Pre A1 Starters and A1 Movers) and is a bridge to higher-level exams. Successful completion of the A2 Flyers level indicates that a child is able to use English to communicate in simple everyday situations. After A2 Flyers, learners can progress to higher levels, such as A2 Key for Schools and beyond, as they continue to advance in their language proficiency.
