"A1 Movers" is the second level in the Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners. It follows the Pre A1 Starters level and is intended for children who have developed basic English language skills. The A1 Movers test is suitable for children aged 6 to 12. [RECOMMENDED AGES 9-10] The A1 Movers test consists of three sections: 1. **Listening:** In this section, children listen to various audio clips, such as conversations, stories, or instructions, and then answer questions based on what they have heard. 2. **Reading and Writing:** This section assesses reading and writing skills. Children are required to read and understand simple texts, answer comprehension questions, and complete sentences or short written tasks. 3. **Speaking:** In the speaking section, children engage in a face-to-face or online interview with an examiner. They participate in interactive tasks, respond to questions, and speak about pictures or topics. A1 Movers is designed to encourage young learners to communicate in real-life situations using basic English. Successful completion of the A1 Movers level indicates that a child is beginning to communicate in English in a simple way. After A1 Movers, learners can progress to the A2 Flyers level, which is the next step in the series of exams for young learners.
