This class targets students who have little knowledge about how ABAQUS software works with reinforced concrete analysis problem. Basic tutorial on the operation of ABAQUS and analysis with ABAQUS will be delivered to the student.

Student should have a basic understanding of RC analysis and design. Student should be equipped with SIMULIA ABAQUS ver 6.14.1 or above. 

Total of 8 hours of one on one training is provided. Frequency of classes can be made flexible according to the tutor/student requirements ( Max. 5 hours a week). It will be made sure that the student practices using ABAQUS along with the tutor for better understanding.

The course content is given below:

1. Introduction to FEA using ABAQUS (1 hour)

2. Familiarizing with the modules and tools of ABAQUS UI and viewport, visualization, result extraction etc.(1 hour)

3. Analysis of a 2 point loaded RCC beam (3 hours)

4. Analysis of a Axially loaded RCC column (3 hours)

5. Doubt clearing session (bonus hour)
