This course is for beginners, or for people who want to refresh their basics in the language. This is to build a firm base in grammar and vocabulary. There will be training given in all 4 skills - listening, writing, speaking and reading. The course book used is the one used by the top academies in the country for beginners. 

The students are first taught how to pronounce and read. They are taught basic greetings, numbers, colours, places. The next topic covered will be verbs and conjugation, for both regular and irregular verbs.

After they have grasped the basics, the next step will be to introduce them to dialogue and speech. They will have to write and read conversations between people, and learn how to use conversational French. 

Slowly, as they gain confidence, they will be exposed to tenses - past, present, future and how to use them interchangeably. They will also enrich their vocabulary through different techniques. 

Towards the end of their class, they will be given various tests to see if they reach the level prescribed by CEFR. If they do not, then revision will be given in the subjects that they fall short in.
