The new pattern allows students to appear for three exams and the Board will mark the students based on the best scores obtained by them among the three exams.In the previous system, students not scoring the minimum passing marks, i.e. 33% in their Karnataka 2nd PUC result were directed to appear for II PUC supplementary exams. However, according to the new pattern, the Board will now conduct Exam 1, 2, and 3, students appearing in these exams will be marked on the basis of their best scores among the three.
