I am a dance teacher. From the beautiful city of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. I started my Kathak journey in 2015, under the guidance of her Guru Shri Tribhuvan Maharaj Ji, who is the ninth generation of the Kalka Bindadin Gharana of Lucknow and the grandson of the legendary Kathak artist, Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj Ji.
Lucknow Gharana, Developed in the courts of the Nawab of Oudh in Lucknow, is known for its intricate footwork, graceful movements, and expressive gestures, and emphasizes storytelling through dance.
I have a deep love for this dance form and wish to propagate the teachings imparted by my Guru to the underdeveloped areas of Uttrakhand with limited access to this dance form learning.
