I have 5 years of experience teaching Vocal Music, specializing in Hindustani classical and Western music. My passion for music has been with me since childhood, and I've had the privilege of learning from renowned Gurus and educators in the field. Here's a bit more about my teaching background:
Educational Background: I hold an MA in Hindustani Sangeet and a Diploma in Western Music, which have equipped me with a strong foundation in both classical and Western musical traditions.
Teaching Experience: My teaching journey began in 2014, and I've been actively imparting my musical knowledge to students ever since. I've had the opportunity to teach both online and offline, providing a flexible learning experience for my students.
Performance Experience: I have a rich performance background, having participated in prestigious events like the Ganga Mahotsav in Varanasi. These experiences have not only enhanced my musical skills but have also allowed me to share my love for music with a wider audience.
Awards and Recognition: I'm proud to have received accolades for my musical achievements, including a Bachelor's Gold Medal and two Governor Awards. These recognitions reflect my dedication to the art of music.
Teaching Approach: In my lessons, I focus on providing a comprehensive musical education. This includes theory and practical sessions, warm-up exercises, Alankar (musical ornamentation), Palta (musical phrases), and Riyaz (musical practice). This well-rounded approach helps my students develop a deep understanding of music.
Age Group: I welcome students of all age groups, from beginners to advanced learners. Music has no age restrictions, and I believe in nurturing the musical talents of anyone who has a passion for it.
Certification: While I don't provide certifications personally, I recommend that my students pursue formal certifications from institutions like Prayag Sangeet Samiti if they wish to obtain recognized qualifications in music.
