I am a korean language teacher /translator/interpreter with more than 3 years of teaching experience. Also, I have been working as freelancer since 4 years. Right now i am working as a translator/interpreter in a multi national company since one and a half years. I have done both my bachelors and masters in Korean language, culture and literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University. I have got quite a few scholarships and awards for my academic excellence as well. For example, POSCO Asia Fellowship in 2015 & 2016; Shinhan Bank Dream Foundation Scholarship in 2017 & 2018. Also, i had an opportunity to to visit korea as an exchange student for one month, on the invitation of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies(HUFS). Learning korean language and working as a translator/interpreter in a korean company, gives me a good knowledge about the culture, traditions and people of korea. Teaching is something i have always been passionate about. Therefore, i used to teach unprivileged students during my holidays. I believe that a teacher is someone who takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.
