IdentityAs a passionate educator with a strong foundation in Geography and advanced spatial analysis, I am excited to bring my expertise in Remote Sensing, GIS, and emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning into the classroom. I hold an M.A. in Geography with 87%, and my academic journey has been enriched through hands-on experience in cutting-edge tools like QGIS and remote sensing applications.
I have also demonstrated my commitment to continuous learning by independently preparing for the GATE exam in Geomatics Engineering, where I scored 27 marks through self-study. This experience has deepened my understanding of geomatics and its applications in solving complex geographical problems.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked on projects such as urban mapping using GIS at the Remote Sensing Application Centre (RSAC) in Lucknow, where I developed and digitized cadastral maps. My training includes sustainable groundwater management and the role of geospatial technologies in natural resource management, equipping me with practical skills to address real-world environmental challenges.
In my teaching, I aim to integrate these technical skills with critical thinking and problem-solving, empowering students to explore how GIS and AI can revolutionize fields like environmental studies, urban planning, and resource management. My goal is to make learning interactive and meaningful, preparing students for future opportunities in this evolving field.
