Well it pretty straight forward.. yes nodejs is good and vast technology. Eventually You will be a good backend developer of present era. Later you can try to learn Frontend technology like Angular or react.. Most important is typescript and JavaScript fundamentals. So be well prepared yourself.. Wish you happy coding ahead.

Both are related to JavaScript but if you are interested in UI development then go with angular and if you want to go with server side backend technology then choose nodejs. Node js interact with database and server. You can create APIs with nnodejs. If you want to be a full stack developer then you should learn both end to end. Choice is yours. Wish you happy coding...
