NISHAANT SINGH is an upcoming Tabla/Pakhawaj/Purvey-Maadal Player born and brought up in the Musicians family. He belongs to a famous Folk Musical Family, his Grandfather was an extremely knowledgeable Purvey-Maadal Player from Darjeeling named Sardaar Indrajeet Singh. Nishaantha's father Shri Kaajee Singh' Vidyaarthee' is also an excellent Purvey-Maadal player and an eminent writer, he has done a lot of research work in this particular instrument Purvey-Maadal and Folk Music.
Nishaant started his Musical career since childhood at the age of four under his father's guidance. Nishaant's father wanted him to learn Indian Classical Percussion's so that it could be a great support for his Research work . He wanted Nishaant to compose notations for the instrument Purvey-Maadal, which was really a great achievement a dream come true for his father.
