i am a history teacher with a exprerience of more then 25 years in a cbse schools . i also teach english as my 2nd subkect . i am double masters in english and history . i have 100 percent results in both the subjects from past 10 years. i have a vast knowledge about indian and comtemporary histoty. i specialise in ncert books for cbse and icse boards .i am currently working as a vice principal in a renownned school . majority of my students score more then 95 peercent in board exam and highest score was 99 (history). i am crrently taking classes for both history and english i a school.

What were the motives of British behind partitioning Bengal?

The only reason was to divide and rule. India's viceroy started this from Bengal based on religion since he knew that Bengal was becoming the strength of Indian unity.
