I am a passionate researcher in GIS and Remote sensing. I have worked in various institutes on different projects. While at the Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON), I had the privilege of working on three noteworthy projects that greatly enhanced my skills in geospatial analysis. As part of the UNDP Munnar Landscape Project, I played a pivotal role in mapping and analyzing the distribution of different landuse and landcover also a time series analysis. I also contributed to a project focused on bird-wildlife hazards in Airfields, where I employed geospatial techniques to assess the habitat around the airfields. Furthermore, my involvement in the Spatial mapping of the Mathikettan Shola National Park project funded by the Kerala Forest and wildlife department allowed me to delve into spatial analyses, enabling me to gain insights into the MSNP's vegetation patterns and conservation requirements. Before my tenure at SACON, I embarked on my professional journey at the Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI), where I was involved in a Flood Mapping Project. This experience honed my skills in geospatial technologies and remote sensing, equipping me with the ability to assess flood vulnerability and contribute to practical disaster management efforts. This project laid a solid foundation for my understanding of geospatial data processing, spatial, and data visualisation.
