Section 2.1: In this section, you will study about the intimate relationship that exists between humans and flowers. Flowers are a symbol of aesthetics and are used as ornaments at social and various events by humans.

Section 2.2: In this section of chapter 2, the hormonal and structural changes that take place within a plant have been explained, which enable plants to reproduce. This section deals with stamen, pollen grain, and microsporangium. Here the definition of stamen, pollen grain, and microsporangium has been given and how they help the plants to reproduce. Their definitions and functions have also been explained properly.

In this section, pistil, ovule or Megasporangium and the embryo sac have been defined, and also functions they play have been explained with suitable figures. Pollination is the process in which grains of pollens are carried from one place to another place with the help of external forces such as birds, animals and insects. In this section, 3 kinds of pollinations, i.e. autogamy, xenogamy, and geitonogamy, have also been discussed.

The agents of pollination are also discussed in this section of the chapter. These agents help to transfer pollen from one place to another. Some of the agents mentioned in this section are Outbreeding Devices and Pollen-Pistil Interaction.

3. Seed- This is the final product of sexual reproduction.
