For the past 14 years, I've immersed myself in the rich tapestry of Kannada and Telugu languages, nurturing a deep-rooted understanding that extends far beyond mere speaking, reading, and writing. From competitive exams like KPTCL and KAS, where language proficiency is paramount, to the nuanced realms of law and academic subjects spanning from class 1 to 12, I've dedicated myself to empowering others with the linguistic skills necessary to thrive in diverse environments. My academic journey culminated in the attainment of a Master's and Ph.D. in Kannada, a testament to my unwavering commitment to mastering this intricate language. At Acharya University, I had the privilege of imparting my knowledge and expertise to a diverse cohort of students, ranging from evening PU to PG levels, from 2016 to 2021. It was during this time that I not only shared my passion for Kannada but also cultivated a dynamic and interactive learning environment that fostered growth and understanding among my students. In recognition of my contributions to language education, I was honored to receive the prestigious Best Language Professor Award. This accolade serves as validation of my tireless efforts to instill a love for Kannada and Telugu within my students, inspiring them to embrace these languages with enthusiasm and confidence. My teaching philosophy revolves around the belief that education should be engaging, accessible, and tailored to the individual needs of each learner. Through online platforms, I've facilitated one-hour interactive sessions that not only reinforce language skills but also encourage active participation and collaboration among students. Beyond the confines of the classroom, my passion for Kannada and Telugu extends into the broader community, where I strive to promote cultural understanding and appreciation. Whether through literary events, language workshops, or community outreach programs, I'm dedicated to preserving and celebrating the linguistic heritage of Karnataka and Telangana. As I reflect on my journey thus far, I'm filled with gratitude for the opportunity to share my love for Kannada and Telugu with others. Vocal Music classes - Hindustani Singing, Western Singing by Raktim Dey

I am a 15+ years trained Indian Classical Vocalist, trained by Jayanta Sarkar, a teacher from Shruti Nandan Institute of Indian Classical Music. I have ample experience in professional vocals and have been a stage performer since a very young age. Have experience in playback music. I am also a music composer/producer so I have knowledge of soundscaping for which I can help students with tracks for home excercise or karaoke for helping them to perform on stage or social media. I am familiar with guitar playing and have knowledge of tabla (double distinction certified) alongside various other Indian instruments. As a Vocal Music and Music Composition Teacher at Urban Pro, I take pride in being recognized as a Super Tutor due to my top-ranking status. 🎶 With a B.Com degree and over 20 years of musical experience, I bring a unique blend of musical training and teaching expertise to my students. My musical journey includes 17 years of Indian Classical vocal training and 2 years of Western vocal training, mentored by some of the finest instructors from prestigious institutions. I’ve also performed on Akash Bani Bhavan for 5 years and freelanced as a playback singer across 30 countries. This extensive experience allows me to provide insights that enhance not only vocal skills but also personal growth. Teaching Philosophy In my classes, I focus on creating a conversational and engaging environment, which helps build strong relationships with my students. I guide them through the basics of vocal training, addressing any questions they may have and ensuring they grasp the concepts thoroughly. Training is my passion. Apart from music I am also a Training & Development Manager of Tata Consultancy Services due to my capabilities of training so I have mastered various techniques to bring out the best out of my students. Alongside Indian Classical music I can also train studio techniques to help my students record songs and become a professional playback singer. I am also a social media influencer which allows me to help my students build a career in the digital industry. To summarise, my students will have a wonderful training journey with me due to some of my personal attributes like compassion, patience, sense of humor, leadership abilities and philosophical ideas.
