@eshwari, I have no idea about YPR. In fact, I don't even know how good RNR is, when compared to other NPSs like INR/KRM/HSR. Please check with the school or with the parents.

The syllabus followed will be same. @chandra, nice to hear that your kid is already npsite. we can get lot of info from you regarding academics and other things. where do you stay by the way. Also is NPS Rajajinagar as good as other NPS. I know it was their 1st branch started in 1959. Is it worth the premium in fees you pay every year? Is their syllabus according to CBSE only or superior? Also many parents are not sure of getting admission there, hence may have to forfeit the fees, donation paid elsewhere. Is it worth all this in the end? more»

Hi npsrnrlkg2014, NPS RNR also has a Montessori. Not sure how many students are accommodated in each class there but in LKG they have 3 sections, not 4 & each section has a max of 30 kids. My son joined LKG in 2013 & his section has 24 kids.

Yes, I was wrong. I had seen this information on their website though: "Kindergarten I and II have four sections with two teachers in each section. The maximum number of students in each section is 35."

I called up the school today and they informed that they have 3 sections with 25 kids each + a Montessori group of total 50-55 kids. So from Std I they should have the standard NPS configuration of 4 * 30.

Hi Chandra, only 24 students in a class is good.Students can get individual attention. Were you from general category? can you specify mode of selection? was it both parents working? Income greater than 50L, Sibling Quota, Proximity to school? What is the fees u need to pay for UKG this year

Hi shreyas, whatever you said is right. Meeting chairman is a big task and he rarely comes to rajajinagar branch. you have to go and meet him either in indranagar or koramangala branch and that too with a lot of difficulty. my kid has completed 4 years and I got seat in general category.

Hi Nvk, Did you meet the chairman for admission for your kid. Whenever we ask for appointment they flatly refuse appointments for admission related issues. Do u mind letting this forum know, Income group, Sibling /Alumni Quota, Distance from school, Age/DOB of kid. Thanks

Which is the best NPS: RNR / INR / KRM / HSR? We got a seat in RNR LKG though we wanted INR.

I guess they do not have Mont in RNR, that's why they have 4 sections i.e. 120 kids in LKG. All other NPSs seem to have 2 LKG section and 2 Mont sections i.e. 60+60 kids. So RNR LKG is "easy to get" in that sense.

NPS RNR also has 30 seats in Montessori. The montessori is located at a different building at 1st block Rajajinagar. I think all other NPS also have only 30 seats for Montessori. 60 seats for LKG balance 30 seats i think go to RTE candidates

Hi shreyas, in my case I am working & my wife is house wife. My suggestion to all the parents seeking admissions is to meet the chairman personally and show him how much you wanted to admit your kid in his school. getting his appointment is another big task. but keep trying until you meet him.

Hi nvk, rachana & all parents whose kids got admission. In general category admission what was criterion, Both parents working?, High Salary, Could u plz let us know combined salary range, 15-25L, 25-35L, 35-50L or 50L & above. Will help a lot of parents.

The school is excellent and your son has to write entrance test to get into the school. regarding admission fee, you have to contact the school itself.
