Punarwasu Kapgate

I have recently completed my Graduation for Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts, Pune, with a major in Anthropology and minors in History and Film Studies. I have also done electives and extra courses in subjects related to Literature, Art studies and Cultural studies. I am keenly interested in teaching Social Sciences and Humanities. I have been been a part of leadership team in an NGO named U&I for last 3 years, which focuses on teaching the unprivileged. I have also been associated with them as a teacher for last four years. All round development of students and making children interested in studies has been my strength.

I also have experience with special education, archival research, theatre and ethnographic Studies as a part of internships, community outreach projects as well as Dissertations that I undertook during my time at SSLA. I also have keen interest in Theatre and have been a student of hindustani classical music for over 7 years.

I will be persuing my masters in Text and Performance Studies, from Birkbeck, University of London. I'll continue teaching through online mode this year. The subjects I would be interested in teaching for both CBSE and State board will be - Social Sciences, History, Sociology, Political Science, Art history, Anthropology, Literature Civics till class 12th. I will be interested in both one to one teaching or in groups of 4-5 students.
