I did Post graduation in Microbiology from R.T.M. Nagpur University in 1991 and stood first in the order of merit. She was awarded Ph.D. in Microbiology by S.R.T.M. University, Nanded. I have completed two funded major research projects and has more than 40 research papers in national and international journals to her credit. My research interests include “quorum sensing” in bacteria and bioactive compounds from Actinobacteria. I am a recognized Ph.D. supervisor of RTM Nagpur University for Biotechnology. Iam currently working in Hislop School of Biotechnology, Hislop College, Nagpur where she has been teaching biotechnology, microbiology and molecular biology to undergraduate and postgraduate students for more than twenty years. I have also authored books entitled “Basic Microbiology”, “Virology: Fundamentals & Applications” and Semester wise textbooks in Microbiology of RTM Nagpur University and Bengaluru University (as per NEP 2020).
