I am a qualified guitarist and instructor, with a Diploma in Music Performance majoring in Guitar and Live Performance Workshops from Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music(SAM), Chennai. I have pursued the art of audio production as well, which includes recording, editing, mixing and mastering. I taught music at TAAQ-Academy in Bangalore after which I started travelling. During my travels, I met many professional musicians who passed on many trade secrets. Due to the Corona Virus lockdowns, I have taken to online teaching. I will pass on every bit of knowledge to aspiring musicians/producers. I offer lessons to beginners, intermediate and advanced musicians.

Why strumming is so much difficult?

The fact that it is difficult means you have to practice. Do some strumming exercises and learn the most common activities to get your hands moving. Learning an instrument is difficult. It requires your time and dedication, and your hands need regular training on the guitar.

What is the benefit of using a thin guitar pick?

Guitar picks are personal preference.like the size of the pen you use for writing.I personally prefer jazz3 picks.It is difficult to play at high speeds with a thin pick.but go with whatever works best for you .

Can I learn electric guitar without learning the acoustic guitar?

Yes you can.it will make no difference whatsoever.The concept of playing remains the same.But with electric guitar ,you can connect pedals and learn how to make some good tones.If interested in online classes,please contact me.
