IdentityI’m a mechanical engineer with over 3 years of experience in the oil and Gas Industry. I’m eager to apply my knowledge and strong work ethic to a challenging role like this and contribute towards the company’s success.
Family background- I have lived my whole life in Thane. My mother is a housemaid and my father is retired now. My elder brother is working as an electronics engineer in Bangalore currently and my Younger sister is pursuing higher studies and she is also a mechanical engineer. I grew up in a middle-class family and faced poverty in childhood but the situation improved as I became older. Right from childhood I had the mindset of a scholarly person and I was always excelling in academics because I was very punctual in studies and learning. I scored a very high percentage in 10th standard so I could take up Science Stream in 12th As I was very good at solving math problems, logically understanding science concepts, etc I decided to take up Science Stream in college. I got an above average percentage in HSC exam, but I got above-average marks in math anthe d a high score on the Entrance test for Engineering field. I chose to only apply for Methe Mechanical Engineering and got admitted to Don Bosco Institute of Technology which is a reputed college at Mumbai University. I made a lot of friends not just from my field but from other classes. Four years of Engineering just passed in the blink of an eye which gave me a better understanding of the outside world and the responsibilities that I should have not just to Society but to relations around I was good at sports during college and used to come earlier than college timings or wait after college to play volleyball, cricket, and indoor games like Table Tennis(TT), and have a chit-chat with friends, all of my assignments submissions were on time and hardly I was absent any day in college, etc. I had never gotten into any Bad Habits like smoking, drinking alcohol, watching movies late at night, skipping classes, etc. Every semester I used to study in the same way completing assignments and unit tests and studying very hard for Final semester exams the whole day and night. My performance in every semester was consistent and constant. I passed out with above above-average GPA in my Final year. Basically, my academics were really strong throughout engineering college. That means I was not interested in watching television, going to the cinema every Friday, or partying till late at night. Even a relationship wasn’t something I looked for. During my fourth year, I sat for many interviews but never got selected by any company and found that my communication skills were poor. After the final semester within a month, I got placed in NPCC Eng Pvt Ltd (NEL) which is an Oil & Gas Company, and worked there for over 3 years as a Rotating Equipment Design Engineer. Initially, I got a huge exposure of Oil and Gas Industry and learned a lot of practical things which were very necessary in that industry. So basically my Job was to select and procure various types of Water & Chemical Pumps whimayybe gas driven or electric motors, Compressors, Turbines, and various types of Material handling equipments like Deck cranes, design and safequipmentents (like fa ire extinguishers, life-saving boats, Dry Chemical Powextinguishersc) which are used on Production and process platform in Offshore marine environment. During the career period I learnt a lot of skills like, my office, public,c learning, problem-solving, Always I had in my mind and that it was not a core technical job but something that I had to do to earn a high income. It was during Covid that we faced Job loss and had to quit company in October.
After that, I supported my household activities in Thane.
