IdentityI am a product design engineer by profession. I love engaging myself with kids and making do it yourself projects based on engineering,scientific and design principles. For the diy projects I work mostly with paper,thermocole,soft wood and plastic pipe. The mission behind me doing this venture is to engrave a confidence candy into children and make them feel a sense of having created something on their own and more so ever that particular product works.
I have been working with imagimake as a diy designer for quite some time now pushing their brand "Quill on" with the help of tutorial videos on paper quilling and exploring a totally new world of 3d paper quilling. Somethings I have made with quilling are utility items,dolls,action figures,cars,bikes, robots,animals and all the possible things a kid loves making. The coursework is set based on age group of the student with a set of 4 projects of different genre ranging from art and craft projects, self engineered toys with waste materials, paper quilling 2d and 3d, bike modelling with paper and other explorations are in the pipeline yet to be launched! After the child has done the coursework it will instill a scientific attitude towards situations and get a self satisfaction of being a "Maker". The coming future is the generation of "Makers".
