Siddharth Aranya

I am a self-taught guitarist, most comfortable playing in the genres of Rock and Blues. While I was abroad at University of Queensland, I achieved high distinction in 3rd year music courses which I took on as electives. I have also performed in a fully improvised concert with School of Music students. I am confident in teaching basics to absolute beginners, and also music theory concepts and improvisation techniques for more intermediate players.

I also have some tutoring experience in fields other than music- I was a part time chess coach for primary school children, and at university I was a weekly tutor for high school students from refugee backgrounds.

In the future I hope to be able to teach keys and bass guitar as well.
