My name is Dr Shraddha, and I am a recent PhD graduate in civil engineering with a specialisation in environmental engineering from IIT Delhi.
My doctoral research topic was understanding the interaction of nano agrochemicals with leafy vegetables and soil, leading to impactful publications in reputed journals. With a solid foundation in water and wastewater treatment processes, I possess unique expertise in the fate of nano agrochemicals and human health risk assessment. During my research, experiments were conducted to explore the long-term effects of ZnO nanoparticles on fenugreek plants, presenting a transgenerational study. The leaching of ZnO and CuO nanoparticles through a soil column was also studied to investigate the fate of nanoparticles.
I am proud to share that my dedication to the field was recognised through the $500 Student Merit Award from the Society for Risk Analysis in 2021. The innovative risk assessment approach developed, addressing both organic and inorganic nano-agrochemicals comprehensively, has been acknowledged for its originality and thoroughness. The human health risk framework represents a significant advancement in the field and is widely acclaimed for its innovative nature. These efforts resulted in publications where I served as the primary author, showcasing my ability to generate academic content of exceptional quality.
I hold a Master's degree from NIT Agartala, which further enriches my academic background. Additionally, I have contributed to the academic community by publishing book chapters, demonstrating my commitment to scholarly endeavours.
My academic journey has equipped me with five years of experience in manuscript writing, editing, thesis composition, and proofreading. I am particularly interested in a formatting consultant or technical academic writer (environmental impact assessment reports) role, where I can leverage my skills to contribute effectively.
