A professional Tabla artist based at Mumbai, India. A Tabla Sangeet Visharad(Bachelor's of music) from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya affiliated music institution from govt. Of India. I started learning Tabla at the age of 8 with guru shishya parampara under the guidance of Ustad Zulfikar Khan of Lucknow gharana ( disciple of Ustad afaq Hussain khan) & Farukkabad Gharana from Pandit Bhushan Munj ( Desciple of Pandit Anindo Chaterjee ) Over the ten years of teaching experience ( National / International students ), I have developed a unique style of teaching method according to students learning an ability, skills interest. Those who are interested in music examination I allow them to appear for the exams. I have received a registration number from Gandharva school of Music. As a freelancer musician, I do play concerts (tabla solo, accompanying on Indian vocal( classical, sugam sangeet, abhang, bhajan etc. In instruments ( sitar, flute, harmonium, sarod, santoor etc., dance ( Kathak, Bharatnatyam etc., fusion, jazz ( world music) light music (gazhal, Bollywood film songs etc. 4 times Gold Medalist ( Tabla - percussion category ) in Music competition at Mira Bhayandar Cultural competition.Worked and performed with well-known artists from India and International at various prestigious music festivals in India and abroad. Recorded Tabla for few Movies and ads ( google ) . Recorded music albums and programmed At All India Radio. Represented " India" at International cultural exchange programme in Ukraine.
