Pandit Ravi Kishan Mishra Kathak Dance Classes

Ravi Kishan Mishra is a renowned Indian actor and kathak dancer, born on 27th August
1960, in Banaras to the esteemed Maharaj family of the late Sukhdev Maharaj. He is the
grandson of Sukhdev Maharaj and the younger son of Krishna Maharaj Mishra.
Ravi Kishan Mishra's tryst with Kathak began at the tender age of 3 when his father's
guru taught him his first lessons. Then he got his ganda tied by Nritya Samrat Padma
Bhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj. He further honed his skills by receiving training under the
tutelage of the legendary kathak queen, Sitara Devi Ji.
Throughout his illustrious career, Ravi Kishan Mishra has graced several prestigious
stages, performing alongside Sitara Devi Ji and her daughters, Jayanti Mala and Priya
Mala. He has also choreographed numerous Bhojpuri serials and movies, showcasing his
multifaceted talent.
Presently, Ravi Kishan Mishra is a revered kathak teacher in Mumbai, imparting his
knowledge and expertise to aspiring students. His contributions to the art form have
earned him great acclaim and recognition in the entertainment industry. He is also
teaching dance for the NGO named Need for Good Foundation.
