Joy Londhe

I am Joy Londhe from India. As an Indian, I am a part of a multilingual community and I am fluent in Hindi and Marathi and speak English at a Native level.

I am passionate about Language and teaching. Writing and Poetry have been my hobby for many years now and it has given me many achievements and awards in the same. Teaching has taught me to adapt and be flexible in my dealings with students and people. I spent four years in seminary school which taught me to learn anything that was given to me as we were asked to perform tasks with impossible deadlines. As a result, my talents were not only sharpened but I learnt one thing, no matter what task is given I could perform it well.

From a young age, I would partake in teaching and help my mom tutor her students. Therefore, I would spend time adapting in whichever way the student wanted me to be. As years passed by, I developed the skills of poetry and content writing. I have published my poems in numerous anthologies and won many awards for the same. I handle a blog page for a Higher Secondary school with regular blog posts and articles. I have a solo poetry collection under publication called Mystic Murmurs that will be launched in a month or two.

I have also participated in and won debates, elocutions, open mics and presentation competitions. With four research and one paper in review, I have considerable experience in research and academic writing as well. When it comes to handling on-stage events, I have spent more than 7 years organizing and managing events like college social gatherings, wedding receptions, book launches and many more. I use these tactics to keep my class or audience entertained during my lectures.

From teaching remedial classes to taking lectures in English for higher secondary and undergraduates, in the last 7 years I have dealt with students of every kind. The most fruitful time of teaching I ever had was teaching the slum kids for they knew how to show gratitude and the value of the efforts that are been put on them. With my Higher Secondary education in science and my graduation in English with Psychology and Economics as minors, I can teach or write on any subject given to me. For the last few years, I have been editing and proofreading my college’s magazine. Every year during the vacations, I conduct a batch of more than 200 students to teach them English and develop their personalities. Thus, I have been equipped with handling humans from the age of 5 to the oldest person I have taught 65 years old.

I can describe myself as a learner. I keep on learning till and I can juggle tasks with complete efficiency. I have been juggling tasks for years and now I’m completely enabled to handle it without causing any hiccups. I am fueled with challenges and I never give up on anything.
