I completed my Bachelors in Home Science from Nirmala Niketan , and Post Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education from SNDT, Juhu. I worked with St. John’s Universal School for twelve years. My penchant for Early Childhood Education and the value that I ascribe to my interaction with children in the kindergarten was one of the prime reasons for my motivation to seek further education in Early Childhood Education. To this end, I completed my Masters of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Houston Clear Lake (UHCL) in December 2011. My internship at the Children’s Museum of Houston gave me an opportunity to work with educators in order to involve children of all ages in exploring science, math, and geographical concepts in an informal educational setup. After attaining my Master’s Degree, I worked with the Aditya Birla World Academy School at Tardeo (in Mumbai) for 3 years. Professional developmental courses encouraged me to give my best at all times. Soon, I realized that the long hours of commute were reducing my efficacy at work, and thus I decided to look for another educational institution (with minimum travel time) which was committed to excellence in quality education. My ardent search led me to Ryan Global School in Andheri, where I happily worked for the last five years. In addition to being a Math specialist in the Primary Section of this school, I also had the opportunity to teach Math to students of Grade 6 for one year. I have been teaching in Primary School for the last 20 years. I intend to try different avenues in my career.
