Born in Mumbai, India, Dishank was introduced to his role in the world of dance in an introspective moment, his formal training for the same began much later with various guides such as Sumeet Nagdev(Dance Plus - Season 1 Judge Fame, Artistic Director, Expressions Modern Dance Company, India), Steve Rooks (Ex-Principal Dancer of Martha Graham Dance Company, USA) and Gregory Hancock (Artistic Director, The Gregory Hancock Dance Theater, USA) and James Morrow (USA) and many more.

In 2008, He had won an award for Best Performer and Best Instructor for Expressions Modern Dance Company. A defined step closer to living his dream was his establishment as Rehearsal Director, Principal Dancer and Senior Dance Instructor at EXPRESSIONS Modern Dance Company, India. He was the youngest member of the company. In June 2011, He was also the First and youngest dancer from India to achieve a Dance scholarship for Modern Dance at The Gregory Hancock Dance Theater in USA.

Being impressed by his Performance during his dance scholarship in USA. In June 2012,The Gregory Hancock dance theater invited him as a Guest Artist for a Dance Musical called The Hunchback of the Notre dame. He has also completed Professional training program at The School of Toronto Dance Theater in Toronto, Canada.

He has also performed various shows for Cricket World Cup 2015 and Arijit Singh live shows (Famous Indian Bollywood Singer) in Australia and New Zealand.
