IdentityI’m Christine, a passionate Musician and Piano Instructor based in Mumbai. With over 20 years of experience in music, I am certified in Grade 8 Piano by ABRSM and am currently pursuing the ATCL Diploma under the esteemed Ms. Natallia Kapylova.
Having had the privilege of training with some of the best music instructors in Delhi, my musical journey spans solo performance, leading choirs and acapella groups, as well as arranging music for diverse projects. For the past 7 years, I’ve had the joy of teaching piano to students of all ages and skill levels. My students have gone on to achieve excellent results in Graded Piano Exams, earning distinctions in both theory and performance from Trinity College, London, and ABRSM.
In my piano lessons, I emphasize a well-rounded approach, focusing on technique, repertoire, musicianship, and creativity. I guide students through a combination of Method and Repertoire books to develop essential skills such as Performance, Sight-reading, Music Theory, and Aural skills. Every lesson is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each student—whether they’re learning for recreation or aiming for Graded Certifications.
Building a strong foundation in Western Classical music is key, but I also encourage students to explore genres and styles of their choosing, including popular music, as they progress.
