I face difficulties when switching to other chords. Is there an easy way to learn switching?

There isn't. You have to make the Reyas (practice) your daily routine and within a month or two, you will get through it. Don't trust anyone who claims that you will get through it in a day or week time.

In how many years can a student finish all the grades related to guitar or piano exam? What is the best age to start?

For eight grades of Trinity college for piano or any other instrument, I have seen students taking upto 6-10 years in total. It depends on how much time they spend on daily practice. Then another three years will be required if the student wishes to get a diploma or postgraduate level degrees in music. For... ...more

Then another three years will be required if the student wishes to get a diploma or postgraduate level degrees in music.

For piano, students can start at the age of 5-6 also.

Why strumming is so much difficult?

Hi Bhagyashree, As far as I can tell Guitar strumming is the easiest thing to do on Guitar :) What can be little more complicated is chord transitions. (changing chords without a break) But with disciplined, consistent practice, you can achieve it in a few months. :) Regards! ...more
