With a DALF C1 certification, a Diploma in Teaching French as Foreign Language (DUFLE) from Le Mans University in France and more than 3 years of experience teaching French, first as a home tutor for HSC board, then at Alliance Francaise de Bombay, I have varied exposure of teaching to students as young as 13 yo to senior working professionals in their 50s. Certified examiner and corrector for the DELF exams, my speciality lies in preparing students for A1 to B2 levels, whether it be for acquiring a job in a francophone country or university applications. I am also an expert in customizing course material to students' preferences and requirements, and time allocation.

An ardent fan of languages, I am currently teaching myself Level 4 Mandarin. I speak 5 languages besides Mandarin Chinese, of which I have been professionally teaching French since 3 years. My training and experience allow me to understand a student's individual needs and patiently adapt to their speed and style. I started studying Mandarin two years back. Everything there is to prepare for for the first two HSK levels and then some more, I taught myself with no external help from tutors, relying solely on my hardwork, patience and knack of finding the best free resources around. For me, Chinese was a difficult language to acquire, but more than the actuaI technical aspects, the main hurdle was the exorbitant fees charged by classes, boring methodology and lack of motivation as there were so few other Mandarin learners in my circle compared to other foreign languages. Despite all of this , I scored full marks on the HSK2 exams. So I know exactly where learners of the language get stuck and how to help them overcome those problems. Now, I want to put my knowledge into practice, while helping other students like me. My teaching style combines time-tested techniques for mastering grammar and vocabulary with games, roleplays and fun to make learning always feel satisfying and not tedious.
