Greetings! My name is Aakruti Sarangdhar (one can also call me Akay), a Mumbai born visual artist specializing in Headshots, Character & Mood Portraits, Fashion & Advertising Photography. Creating purposeful narratives, bringing your vision and authenticity along with my own to life. Having worked in the industry for over 8 years, I share a bird’s eye view that reveals more of the detailed characteristics which construe me such as luminosity, consciousness, authenticity, romanticism, reflectiveness and the idea that served to coalesce all that into one connected as whole. I have always believed in broadening my visual boundaries to my creative abilities, diving deep in my artistry, and cultivating the ability to convey a strong message through my art. I have been shooting Fashion, Portraits and Products during my years of expertise. As for my technical skills, I am proficient with a wide array of professional cameras, lighting gears and lenses and photo editing softwares like photoshop and lightroom. In addition to my work publications in Times Life India, Midday print newspaper, TMMindia and PhotoVogue, my photographs have also appeared in various print and digital magazines. Among my many accomplishments is working for elite cable channels like MTV and NDTV, as well as photographing many Bollywood and British celebrities.
