I am a working professional. Since last 3 years, I was working with Infosys Ltd. as Senior Systems Engineer. Currently, I am working with Israel based MNC Amdocs Ltd. as Senior Subject Matter Expert.
I have teaching as my hobby. I'm technically very good in java and in some other languages, so I want that knowledge to spread in the world.

Which course to opt for an IT field student who don't have very good command on coding?

Go for database. It is interesting as well as demanding also. If you hav good kbowledge of no-SQL databases like MongoDB or OrientDB or any other, then you can be a very valuable resource for any growing company, for sure. All the best.

How many months of practice is required by a beginner to learn coding and to work for a basic salary?

Java is an ocean. If anyone says that he/she knows Java completely, he/she is lying. It depends on your requirement. As far as if you are concerned about job, then you will need to learn other technologies also. To be comfortable with Java programing, dedicated 2-3 months are required.

What is the name of best core java book?

There are many books on core java which can be tagged as good. For beginners, I will recommend Headfirst.
