IdentityDr. Devyani Garg is B.A & M.A in Economics and Ph.D. (Economics) with an overall Academic experience of 8 years in Economics and professional experience of 13 years as a Deputy Supervisor of a Direct Selling Company. Additionally, she has been an entrepreneur for an Apparel and jewelry Business, thus enriching her journey so far with both academic and professional marketing industry experience.
With eight years of experience in teaching Economics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, I specialize in 11th and 12th-grade Economics, as well as Micro and Macro Economics. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor in Noida, affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University and Shobit University. My academic journey includes a BA, MA, and a PhD in Economics, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
I have published six research papers in various international and national journals, highlighting my commitment to advancing knowledge in the field. Additionally, I hold two patents and have edited two books as the chief editor, further demonstrating my expertise and contributions to Economics. My active participation in over 45 Faculty Development Program (FDP) workshops has enhanced my teaching methodologies and kept me updated with the latest trends in education.
I conduct online classes via Zoom, each lasting one hour, where I employ an interactive approach to engage students actively. My teaching is primarily lecture-based, utilizing PowerPoint presentations and slides to deliver content effectively. To reinforce learning, I provide assignments and reference books, ensuring that students have access to comprehensive resources to deepen their understanding of Economics. Through my teaching, I aim to inspire and equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for their academic and professional futures.
There are 6, published research papers accredited to her name till now in various international and national journals. She has published two book chapters and published two patents on communication and physics. She has been “Chief Editor” of two books namely “Contemporary Economic Issues in India” & “Emerging Issues In India”.
She has attended around 45+ FDPs/Workshops/Seminars/Conferences. Has Won 2 awards: as the “Best Paper Presenter” at an International Conference and “Young Researcher Award”. She has also been an active review member of a few esteemed journals. She has presented research papers at various international & national conferences.
