I think you can choose ppt because students need interaction. You must interact with students through animation, pictures media, etc., it can be added into your presentation, and it will boost the student's interaction. They quickly get the knowledge of the topic.
In Mathematics, you can choose the whiteboard and ppt also. Only the whiteboard is very dull for students. We should always remember that before some years we all were students, so think accordingly and make the subjects interesting for them.
