I myself am a masters degree holder in kathak and have been teaching kathak since the age of 16. Apart from being a disciple of the leading exponent of raigarh gharana of kathak - Dr. Suchitra Harmalkar, I am a solo performer and choreographer. She is a true mentor, as she makes sure the students learn thoroughly and is willing to teach us till the extent we get our postures, movements and steps perfectly.
