Not really necessary. You can use airfrier instead oil frying .

Why do recipes add salt at the end of cooking?

When you boil veggies or chickens add salt in the beginning. Because main ingredient absorb salt quickly while boiling period. After mixing gravy, salt is must to balance the gravy and main ingredients.
