IdentityThe Foundation derives its name from an Urdu word “Simt” which means direction in English and Disha in Hindi. It is an organization which strives to provide guidance and direction to those who, due to lack of proper direction and guidance, fail in their respective arena. Direction is as essential as salt in food. Without direction the very objective of any task or activity is lost. To draw the desired result of any task or activity, it requires proper guidance and direction. The work done with direction ends in success.
In today’s time of science and technology, the pace of human endeavor has become fast and steady and Education that enables one to take right decisions and make good choices in life has also been impacted by material world and that is why it has also been framed in a way that caters to almost material need of the students. Students are obsessed with the idea of launching their life as soon as possible. In this hurry, they are least bothered about planning their academic career and tend to go without planning and direction. So it is very essential that they should be given proper guidance and direction and this is the prime objective of “Simt Foundation”.
Guidance and direction play a very pivotal part in the overall development of human being. So every human being must plan his or her life with proper direction and guidance to obtain success in it. To lead a life without direction and guidance is to lead a life of an animal. A conscious life is directed and guided.
Thus founded in September, 2013 by Mr Haseeb Ahmad, the Simt Foundation is proposed social welfare foundation mainly working on educational and social upliftment of the deprived societies.
