She carries a rich experience in the field of education as a teacher, author, principal and editor of text books. She possesses about 22 years of teaching experience, and has worked in St. Francis' College Lucknow for last 19 years of her teaching career as head of Biology department.

She has previously worked for Ratna Sagar Ltd. and Evergreen Publishers before joining Good luck Publishers and will be happy to share her experience and knowledge in taking us on a growth path in times to come.
She is the co-author for the bestselling ICSE series of biology with Dr. Vishnoi and has more than 12 titles to her credit. She has developed books on Environmental education and science for ICSE, CBSE and state boards and has carved her reputation as a consultant Editor for science books in India.

She is based in Lucknow where she completed her masters in Science from Lucknow University, has three years research experience as a JRF - CSIR. She has extensively travelled across India with her husband who retired as a Director Geological Survey of India.

Issues of the environment are very close to her heart and she works to create environmental awareness among children in her spare time, through seminars, Bal Mela under the aegis of WWF-Nature of India. She was awarded an appreciation letter by Late Acharya Vishnu Kant Shastri, Ex- Governor U.P. in 2004 for her societal work. She runs a free school for the under privileged children of Lucknow. Her societal works were covered by the print and electronic media from time to time. She is also President of a Social organization ‘Shree shakti Eco-friendly Parivar” run by the ladies of Lucknow.
