Why LNAT ??

The National Admissions Test for Law, LNAT, is an admissions aptitude test which was recognised in 2014 by EIGHT UK universities, law programmes for a home applicant. The test was established as an answer to the problem facing universities trying to select from an increasingly competitive pool with similarly high A Level. With effect from its second year, the LNAT is required for the UK and overseas applicants alike. There are now nine participating law schools and hundreds of test centres worldwide.

Some facts about LNAT -

  • Duration of the test is 135 minutes and consist of two sections. The test taker is allotted 40 min to complete the essay and 95 min to answer 42 multiple choice questions aimed at measuring reading comprehension and logical reasoning skills.
  • Essay portion is 40 min long and involves the candidate answering one of the three available essay questions.
  • Score range is in between 0-42
  • LNAT is conducted once in a year by Pearson VUE.
  • The score is valid for one year.
