In the year 2012 we think to build a Artistic platform for development of Indian Art and Crafts. At the same time We wanted to introduce Indian Traditional Art to the Young generation of our Country and to encourage them in the field of Indian Art & Craft, we also wanted to make position for our Indian Art & Craft in the World Art Field. Therefore, there was a preparation to set up an Kala Kendra to develop and recognize creative works. After a long struggle Jamini Roy Kala Kendra had a good start in the year 2012 .The organization was also Affiliated to Suro Bharati Sangeet Kala Kendra (An ISO 9001:2008 certified) in the Year 2016.

Mission:
1.To develop the Indian arts and Crafts and to educate the people in cultural subjects.

2.To publish Yearly Magazines, research papers and books on Art & Crafts.

3.To organize special programs, conference and seminars on Art & Craft.

4. To Arrange Yearly Examination for School Students on Art from an ISO Certified Kendra.

5.To Encourage students in Indian Traditional Art Education.
