"Finding a tutor that can teach is really difficult, and then when you add the requirements of being kind, patient, and encouraging to the list, it seems that you have an impossible task. I was faced with retaking business calculus, and was terrified. I looked and checked into many tutors - many were just "kids" who'd already passed calculus and now thought they could tell someone else how to pass. This might work for some students, but I really needed an instructor, and I was so very lucky to find Shafeek. He took time to make sure that I had all the formulas understood and the rules learned. He showed me different ways to approach equations, and even after retelling me 100 times, He was still kind and understanding. I would gladly recommend Shafeek to any student looking for help learning. He is amazing. If I come across another type of math that I need help with, I will call him again. He was professional and punctual. In addition, if you have last minute question or test anxiety (like I do), he takes the time to work with that. I will say it again, He was amazing. "

"Caring and Very Knowledgeable. I am a second year student and received help from Shafeek in Mathematics. I would recommend Shafeequ rahman to anyone who wants an A in this class. He is very knowledgeable about the subject material and takes extra time and effort to make sure her students understand it as well. He teaches the material in a way that is very easy to grasp. He also goes above and beyond what is required and offers additional practice problems to his students when they want it. Finally, he is very understanding and can adapt to your schedule. Overall, he is an excellent tutor. "

1. M.Tech : If you want to go for GATE exam then you have to have the basic understandings of your core b.tech subjects like c,dbms, automata, computer architecture etc. . Though it is not impossible to have a fresh start but it will take time and money also so if you have knowledge of basics about all cse subjects then you can go for GATE. Just drop a year and take a course of Ravindra Ravula and be dedicated and study hard !! You will surely crack it. IIT tags can take you to a completely different level in professional life..mind it!!
2. MBA : I will not suggest you to go for MBA immediately after B.Tech because even if you score 99.2%ile or more in CAT then also it will be difficult to get a very good college but if you have an experience of 1 or 2 years in IT and having the same score then it will be much much easier for you. FYI, MBA will be much more effective if you have some experiences how any company works.
If you don't want to go for further education then you can get a job in any IT company easily. But if you are not from IITs or good NITs then probably after 2 or 3 years you will feel that master degrees are helpful if you want to grow in IT sector. So better to have at least one master degree.

In terms of knowledge there wont be much to choose between an average B Tech Computer Science guy and an average B Sc IT guy
However in terms of future opportunities in life there's a big difference between the two :
1. Are you planning to go abroad for higher studies ? B Sc IT will be a major handicap then as a lot of courses are open only to applicants with at least 16 years of formal education
2. In the Job market, B. Tech/BE is preferred over B. Sc ( I am not say thing that B. Tech/BE guys necessarily have better subject knowledge but there is definitely a strong perception that B Tech guys are better - partly because most of the decision makers are BE/B Tech themselves and partly because most of the hallowed professional colleges offer BE/B Tech and not B. Sc)
3. If you plan to do MBA later from a tier 1 institute, BE/B. Tech will be more handy over B. Sc ( again because of a strong perception )

Yes, it’s very good to pursue MBA after B.Tech . You can pursue your MBA in different streams like Finance, Information technology, Hospital and Healthcare management, International Business, Tourism and hospitality, Supply chain and logistics, Financial markets, Banking and insurance, E-Commerce or you can go for MBA (HONS) also.
So you can choose any of the above mentioned streams according to your interest.
There are a lot of benefits for MBA, such as:
1. New job positions are open to you.
2. New career paths are open to you.
3. Your earning potential increases.
4. Your professional skills improve.
5. You enjoy greater job security.
6. Your world perspective grows.
You can work as:
After MBA you can work as:
The most important thing is that from where you pursue your MBA . it’s better to choose good institute or university which offers you good practical and industrial exposure, good placements like Lovely Professional University, Symbiosis Institute of business management, Christ university and few others.

If you solely want to clear IIT-JEE : Join a dummy school. They'll give you IIT-JEE related training and if you are already a decent scorer, you will fare better.
If the sole purpose of your life isn't clearing JEE Advance : Then No. Do not join a dummy school. In a dummy school, you'll be trained. In an actual school, you'll learn. Not how to clear iit JEE, but how to be comfortable in your skin, how to make your own decisions, how to have confidence, how to have a decent personality, in short all the qualities you'll need later to get a job. These things, confidence, decision making ability , personality , they can't be learned holed up in a room. They can only be learnt in a productive environment. And trust me, those who tell you that IIT will develop your personality are lying. It's a college, not a magic Kingdom. True, it will help, but it will only take you so far. And years later when you look back, mugging up JD LEE doesn't make for good memories. Finally, your practical knowledge would be nil in a dummy school. I know people with AIRs under 3k who did titration in a beaker during their practical exam. They looked up at me as if I had told them something inexplicably wonderful when I told them that you are supposed to rinse your burette with the reagent before titration and why you are supposed to do that. All these people got 30/30 in their practicals and AIRs under 3k. (Now, not everyone is like that, obviously, but you should consider the possibility that you might be one of them on joining a dummy school). So , if you place marks above practical learning, go ahead and join one. You might do your practicals correctly regardless of whether you join a dummy school or not, but in a regular school you will do your practicals correctly.
Finally, joining a dummy school is not a ticket to IIT. You might still not get it. I'm not being pessimistic, but honestly a lot depends on you as well. In my school years, I prepared for the SAT, the JEE, did my foreign applications, went on vacations, participated in quizzes , some school activities, and went on an educational tour to USA. I cleared the RMO while being in a regular school, and many of my counterparts in dummy schools didn't, despite having studied Cyngage and other refreshers I don't even know the name of. The only thing I ever did in math were my coaching packages and assignments, and yet it was my strongest subject. At the end of the results, I didn't get a rank under 10k , but so didn't many of the students in that dummy school’s top batch. So despite having studied solely for the JEE for more than 2 years(most of them were studying since 9 or 10) they didn't get a rank under 10k. I too didn't get a rank under 10k but I had a chance to explore the million other opportunities that came my way. And I am nothing but an average child and they were part of the top batch of their dummy school. So, dummy school is not a ticket to IIT. I know a guy from my class who had 99% attendance in 11 and 12 ( I am not kidding) and he had a JEE advanced rank under 500. In the end, you can see that what rank you get depends entirely on you, dummy school or not. However, in a dummy school, you'll always be under pressure. Every test, every quiz , every day. In a regular school, you'll always have an outlet to let out some steam. And this might seem trivial, but it boosts productivity. Even in a regular school, the pressure got to me sometimes. It could be even worse in a dummy school.
In the end, it's up to you to decide. I have given a 100% honest account of what I have experienced in a regular school and observed off people of dummy school. I was friends with many of them, so I can give you an accurate first hand account. So read this carefully, analyse the pros and cons, and then decide. It's about the rest of your life for two years, after all.
