He also served as a jury member for the International Film Festival of SHIMLA in 2021-22, a Jury for the SARAN International Film Festival, Odisha 2023, and the BARAK International Film Festival, Assam 2023. EFI (Nila International Folklore Film Festival of India) in 2020, and the LENS FLARE AWARDS in 2019, where he was the jury chairman. Additionally, he served as a jury member for FEFKA, a media jury for IFFK (International Film Festival of Kerala) further solidifying his status as an eminent expert in the field.

As a director, Pampally has won more than 35 International Film Awards for his exceptional work. He is also an accomplished writer, having published four short story collections, which have earned him four major literature state awards for his writing. Pampally's literary achievements include winning the M.P. Paul State Award for short stories in 2004, the Navab Rajendran State Award for the best short story in 2005, the V. T. Bhattathirippadu State Award for the best short story instituted by Ankanam Samskarika Vedi in 2010, the T. V. Kochubava State Award for the best short story instituted by Ankanam Samskarika Vedi in 2010, and the International Global Voice award held at the Oscar-qualifying film festival.

Pampally's short films, including "Lorry Girl" (won the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy Award) and "Tooba," (won the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy Award) have been praised by audiences and have won several awards at international film festivals, including the Sumangala award for the best short film in 2009 and the Haiku Film Festival award for the best direction and best scriptwriter. His films have been screened at various festivals across the world, including London, Belgium, and Japan. "Lorry Girl," (won the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy award) written and directed by Pampally, was screened simultaneously in fifteen countries as a world preview, which further heightened his profile in the industry.

Apart from his achievements in literature and cinema, Pampally also has two art exhibitions to his credit and has served as a child actor on All India Radio, Calicut. A graduate in Chemistry from the University of Calicut, Pampally worked in the Information Technology section of the Mathrubhumi group for almost a decade. While working, he completed his post-graduation in Journalism and Mass Communications and also his post-graduation in English Literature. At present, he runs a production company, ‘Pampally Productions’ in Calicut. His daughter, Peeli Pampally, has also won an award from the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy for the best environmental short film.

Pampally's literary works, including his short story collections "Gowramigal" and "Ummukulusuvinte Ammittugal" and his play "Chappa-Border Paramu" and "Sinjar-Script Book," have been published by prestigious publishing houses. His impressive career accomplishments and contributions to the industry have earned him a well-deserved reputation as one of the leading figures in Indian cinema and literature.

In 2020, Pampally became the JURY of NIFFFI (Nila International Folklore Film Festival of India), and in 2019, he became the JURY CHAIRMAN for the LENS FLARE AWARDS. And jury for FEFKA.

He was born in Calicut in 1979. As a director and writer, he is the winner of more than thirty-five national and international awards for his contributions to the fields of literature and cinema. Among the notable awards he has received are the M.P. Paul State Award for short stories in 2004, the Navab Rajendran State Award for the best short story in 2005, the V. T. Bhattathirippadu State Award for the best short story instituted by Ankanam Samskarika Vedi in 2010, the T. V. Antony award, Haiku Film Festival award for the best direction and best scriptwriter, Tele fest Film Festival award for the best film in 2012, the best director award in Kannur Film Chamber International Film Festival for short films in 2011 and 2012, special jury mention in the U.F.O. film Festival held in Delhi in 2011, special jury mention in Imphal International Film festival in 2011, Film Critic award for the short film Lorry Girl in 2013, and the State Television award in 2013.
Pampally’s short films, Lorry Girl and Tooba, were voted to be the most popular ones by the film viewers at the Viewster International Film Festival, in Germany. His films have also been screened at several film festivals held in places like London, Belgium, and Japan. Pampally's Lorry Girl, written and directed by him, was screened on the same day in fifteen countries, including India, and this further brought him to the limelight. He is also endowed with artistic capabilities and has two art exhibitions to his credit. He had served as a child actor on All India Radio, Calicut for a long time.
