Teaching Experience in detail in Class 11 Tuition

I have worked in the capacity of a Mathematics teacher most of my career. In my long career path of 26 years as a teacher, I have taken up the challenge of teaching Mathematics in different schools and curricula. I started teaching CBSE and ICSE and ISC. Seven years ago I took up the challenge of teaching IB Math SL and IGCSE by joining The International School of Bangalore (TISB)in India. I attended a CIE workshop and did an online course on IGCSE curriculum which helped me to guide my students to achieve excellent grades. After two years of teaching in TISB I got an opportunity to teach in The United World College. I worked there for 3 years where I taught Math studies as a one year course and tutored Math HL students. In UWC, I attended a level2 IB workshop and also became an IB examiner. Thereafter I got an opportunity to teach Math HL in Dubai International school, Dubai. Where, I was the sole Math HL teacher. Out of 12 students in grade 12, four of my students got an IB score of 7 in their diploma and others scored 6, 5 and 4 and an A in Maths extended essay. One of my student joined Cambridge last year to study Mathematics. I enjoy seeing the glee on my students’ faces as they discover the beauty of Mathematics as I take them through the journey of their curriculum and beyond. Teaching and learning new things in Mathematics is my passion. I pass on my enthusiasm to my students and further motivate them to explore and challenge themselves.
