IdentityWith over 30 years of experience in the field of Hindustani vocal music, light music, Hindi songs, and bhajan singing, I have dedicated my life to both practicing and teaching music. I completed my Prabha 6th-year certification in vocal music from the prestigious Prayag Sangeet Samitee and hold an MA in Music. As an artist based in Kolkata, I have had the privilege of performing as a B-High ranked artist on Radio All India, which has enriched my musical journey and given me the opportunity to share my passion with a wide audience.
In addition to my work as a performer, I am deeply committed to teaching music. I run my own music center where I train students in various genres of vocal music, including Hindustani classical, light music, and devotional singing. My students have participated in numerous competitions, winning accolades and awards, which reflect the quality of training they receive under my guidance. I have always believed in nurturing talent and instilling confidence in my students, allowing them to shine in the competitive world of music.
I offer both online and offline classes, each session lasting for 1 hour. My teaching approach blends both practical and theory-based learning, ensuring that students not only master the technicalities of music but also understand its deeper cultural and emotional aspects. Whether it's vocal exercises, song rendering, or preparing for exams, I provide a well-rounded music education.
In addition to the regular sessions, I assist students in preparing for exams conducted by Prayag Sangeet Samitee, helping them with theory and practical components required for these certifications. The preparation is focused, ensuring that they are fully equipped to succeed in their exams while gaining a comprehensive understanding of classical music.
Live sessions form the core of my teaching approach. These interactive classes allow me to provide real-time feedback, answer questions, and ensure that each student’s learning process is smooth and efficient. I also provide notes to support the lessons, offering students additional resources to enhance their practice and understanding.
